The Challenge: Coordinating a Major Hydroelectric Rehabilitation Project

The Centrale Isle-Maligne upgrade is a major construction project involving a large number of subcontractors, suppliers, professionals, workers and project stakeholders.

‍

The scale of the work, the remote location and the short ramp-up period required rapid mobilization, strong planning capacity and close coordination between remote and on-site teams.

‍

The project is being delivered under an Integrated Project Delivery Team model, which required clear alignment between stakeholders, structured communication and a shared understanding of planning responsibilities. For several participants, this delivery model was still relatively new, adding another layer of coordination to the mandate.
